Why use 3 channels to record a bass? Why Not!

I’m really excited because the worship team at my church got asked to record 2 original worship tunes for a compilation album. I’ve been itching to record again since I finished my last album, so the timing is perfect. Me and a couple of my friends just finished recording the drums & bass a few nights ago. It was a blast. We got our grubby little hands on TONS of great gear. It was one of those times when you say, “Whoops, I just bumped into that $3500 pre-amp and stepped on that $2000 mic.” It was Gear Nerd heaven. I’ll keep you updated on the songs. They should be ready in about 2 or 3 weeks. I’ll post them when they’re done so you can take a listen.
