I suppose like all children, "we" (in the collective sense - or candidly, in the very personal sense of "me") have the same nature as little children ... always focused on ourselves ... the "what's in it for me." This line of thought brought to my mind 1Corinthians 14:20 "Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults." And Ephesians 4:15 "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ." Which brought me back to the mind renewal statement I am concentrating on these days "own your thoughts and actions, before - during - after." (Catching my thoughts and holding them captive to Christ.) Thanks ... Great thoughts to consider today!
