Great thoughts to consider today! I suppose like all children, “we” (in the collective sense – or candidly, in the very personal sense of “me”) have the same nature as little children … always focused on ourselves … the “what’s in it for me.” This line of thought brought to my mind 1Corinthians 14:20 “Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.” And Ephesians 4:15 “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.” Which brought me back to the mind renewal statement I am concentrating on these days “own your thoughts and actions, before – during – after.” (Catching my thoughts and holding them captive to Christ.)
