Wow, yay!! We are actually commanded to rejoice in the Lord always!! And rejoicing is by nature something that is an action. Joy can be unseen, but rejoicing is something that is seen. And, if rejoicing is commanded always, then when is there a time when we should not be able to dance?

You praise what you enjoy. To praise is also something that must be released outwardly. If we do not desire to praise, then we are not enjoying that thing.

May we taste and see (and enjoy) that the Lord is good, then we will not be able to contain our praise, or our joy, and many times we will dance!

We dance because He first danced over us! (Zeph. 3:17) And when we see that dance, we will dance!!! Woo hoo, ok, I'm done

I think an underlying theme you've got is that, in order to worship God in a more perfect praise, you've got to "get over yourself." Too often, when we are "worshipping" we're concerned with ourselves, our tastes, our comfort zones, and not with God.

You are very eloquent, and I'd love to get a bunch of us together to dance!

"One final word, friends. We ask you—urge is more like it—that you keep on doing what we told you to do to please God, not in a dogged religious plod, but in a living, spirited dance. You know the guidelines we laid out for you from the Master Jesus. God wants you to live a pure life." 1Thess 4:1-6 (Message) ... Thanks for this Spirit filled message!
